Coconut Jack's Waterfront Grille

The food was outstanding. My scallops were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also had a pretty view of the water.

Coconut Jack's is a waterfront restaurant in Bonita Beach. The views are great, the service is excellent. And the food is very good! I had the coconut shrimp platter...big juicy Gulf shrimp, done right., and a nice portion About half of them came home with me. I believe they were mated with fries and Cole slaw. I didn't have room for dessert. They feature Sweet Melissa's ice cream and other regional desserts. I had a Jack's pinch, a specialty of the house

It was just ok. I ordered the crispy fish n chips and the fish came out like chicken nuggets size pieces, maybe that's a thing but it was not too my liking. My wife ordered a burger with a side salad, was told there is only an appetizer size salad and suggested to order that salad with a side burger, which came out without a bun!, What? On a good note the burger was flavorful and we got a great wine for half price as part one their BIN sale.

Decent seafood fare but it is mostly fried. Great flavour in the drinks, but a little small. Fast service and turn around. The valet guys are A+.

If you are looking for better then average food this is not the place you will want to go too. You are only paying for the water view here. My feeling is that it's a Tourist trap with no intention of getting repeat business. We ordered 4 dishes and 2 of them were expensive dishes, crab stuffed grouper, and the triple seafood platter. For 32 and 34 dollar meals you would think they would have some flavor, wrong!!!! No flavor at all, same goes for the bloodies we had. I usually do no write reviews but felt very disappointed after spending 190 dollars. The staff was great however. The food was just blaaaa.

Great food. Sat outside on the front deck. A dolphin and alligator swam by.

I had the Stuffed Gulf Grouper which came with rice and sauteed veggies and it was delicious. This is the place to go for fresh seafood and friendly staff. Mike was super helpful and even made suggestions for different sauces to pair with my meal. I will recommend this place 100 times over. My only reservation is that I was still hungry when I left. I'm not a big person, I just wish there was more.

We loved the view and the local grouper! Kevin did our service and it was excellent, looking forward to going back for a lunch. Also the fish jumping were a very neat sight!

I must say that the service from the time you pulled in the parking lot until exiting. Service was superb, food was very good. Highly recommended!!!! 😊👍

If I could give it a zero stars, I would. Extremely rude staff-- Bartender Jesse the worst. Don't waste your hard earned money to be treated poorly.

A great seafood joint that captures the essence of south Florida. Great views of the river, and a big deck that stays cool on hot days.

Wonderful food and our server Brandon was not only very very good looking but, a fabulous server. His recommendations were great and his total service was the best. Definitely a great experience. Always ask for Brandon.

Overpriced average food, nothing special. Only valet parking available The only thing good was the water view. The fish in Long John Silvers is better. The drinks were weak and small and overpriced. The floor is dirty and I had to swap chairs since mine had food stuck to it. Overcooked broccoli, probably was frozen. Small oysters. Was there Saturday the 18th of January around 2pm. I don't understand why this place is so popular.

Delicious food right on the waterway. Parking is valet only. I recommend a table outside.

Good service. Good atmosphere. We eat lunch here when we're out on the boat. It's a little tricky to find if you're not used to boating in the area. When they see you arriving by boat they come out to the dock and help you tie up. We've been there 3 times in the past 2 weeks and had good service each time. Bathrooms are clean too.

Have to deal with valets but they are polite and efficient.Food is good. Not great.There are no bad seats here. Very unusual for waterfront places.Waitstaff and bartenders very friendly and patient.

Always a great dining experience! They served our party of 14 and did an excellent job. I had the Salmon and it was very good. The portion was so generous I had it for lunch the next day.

Valet line appears long from the road but moves very quickly. Valet parking service was excellent. All employees are friendly and FAST! The food was excellent. I was so impressed by how fast and GOOD the service was despite being such a busy place. It was a wonderful experience.

Beautiful serene location outstanding (sea)food and drinks. Happy hour. Eat in or outside and view the alligators watching you. Valet parking only. Perfect for lunch or dinner.

Great service. Friendly and competent staff but the food is way overpriced and overrated. What am I paying for...? A $30 piece of grouper served by a kid in a t-shirt and a baseball cap? It’s not the only waterfront restaurant around. They’re literally all waterfront. I didn’t get it.

My friends came to visit from Maine and the food seemed even better than it did last year. I had the blackened grouper sandwich and it was delicious. It was cooked to perfection. My friends had the coconut shrimp and my husband had scallops grilled. Everyone said how wonderful everything was. There was a young boy from Wisconsin or Minnesota somewhere up north. He was very friendly and talkative and helpful. We left him a 50% tip. A very good experience Debra Johnson Bonita

Visiting wife’s family and they have two tiny dogs. Outdoor seating is available so dogs could sit under the table while we had lunch. Very attentive staff and very good food. Family enjoyed the shrimp baskets and drinks. I’m allergic to shellfish and opted for the burger. Fantastic combination of ground chuck and brisket - Yum!

Arrived st 4:30 PM and no wait. Valet parking guys are very efficient. Crowded but food was very good and server was attentive.

What's not to love about Coconut Jack's? The food is incredible (bacon encrusted grouper - so good!), the atmosphere is incredible, the waitstaff is so friendly and they have complementary valet! They have amazing desserts, also, but if you save your receipt you'll get 10% off at partner business 'Sweet Melissa's Ice Cream', which I HIGHLY recommend! If you sit in the tiki at Jack's you may even see dolphins while you dine!! 🐬

Coconut shrimp appetizer was great. All our meals were excellent and we had a great time feeding the fish.

This place was THE best! We took four kids and the service was super quick. I understand for such a popular place there is always a wait, but when we got there the hostess said a fifteen minute wait and we waited less than five minutes. They do some serious business here. The Alaskan King crab was THE biggest I’ve ever seen! It was delicious and cracked for you to save time on doing it yourself. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back for more. 🤤 We can’t wait to visit again next time we are in town.

Had high hopes, but sadly disappointed. The clam chowder tasted like it came from a can and as lukewarm. The coleslaw was room temperature and tasted turned. The Grouper pieces were good but really small portions for $18. Not even a full basket of fries to make it look like the portions were worth the money. The shrimp were the size if Walmarts medium frozen shrimp. Skip this stop and save your $50 for a better meal.

Our family comes to this area every spring and Coconut Jack’s is always our main go-to! The coconut shrimp (with delicious raspberry dipping sauce) and a drink on their patio on the water is just what we want when we come to Florida to escape the cold. We have currently enjoyed their curbside take out multiple time as we quarantine too!*Just an extra note is that their mango sauce used to be wonderful, it has been watered down over the years. Everything else deserves a 5 though!

Can't comment on the food but can talk about their terrible customer service. We travel with a very nervous dog that freaks out if someone else gets in the car. So when we pulled in we told valet we would gladly tip them but we needed to park the car (it's temperature controlled and keeps it comfy in the car). Valet told us no.. there were literally spots beside our car it's not like they had to drive in to some off site parking. I called the restaurant to explain my circumstance... being a former GM of a number of restaurants I assumed they would make it right. Instead they tried to blame some other company... it's their parking lot, the restaurant is responsible. What if we had a disabled child, would this still be the policy?

Amazing service!!! Great entrees, 25% off the bottle of wine, great desert for a very reasonable price. So sorry forgot the servers name but it was lunch today! He was amazing!!!! Would definitely eat here again!!!! Loved it!!!!

The service is always great. I view is unbelievable, my wife and I usually set at the adventuress table. Happy hour is always a treat. The food is the best seafood in bonita. That's my take on it.

Does a great business, friendly staff, but good is mediocre at best. Heavily fried fish and chips, I've never had grouper nuggets. Maybe i elf stick to a burger. Good for families and reasonably priced, but ...

I had heard good things. I was pretty underwhelmed. The service was alright. Our drink orders were messed up at least three times. I ordered one of their specialties. It was simply not good. The fish was dry and overcooked. It had a distinct flavor of burnt tires. The place was nice, and I'll hopefully give them a second chance, but my first impressions are not good.

Its always been a great spot by land or boat. Its the quality of there food. The prices should reflect the quality of the food. If they could draw locals in perhaps they could stay open all year.

There's complimentary valet parking right when you pull in, and one of those giant Adirondack chairs for a fun cheesy photo. We were sat promptly and Mike was our server. One of the members of our party has a gluten and dairy allergy, and she wanted to order an alcoholic beverage. Mike went and got a bartender to assist her with this, and it was a great success. We sat on the deck, and enjoyed the view, a small gator even swam up. Our dinners were great. Nice portion size, tasted great, and served hot. Dessert was amazing, I highly recommend the coconut cream pie. He was even kind enough to split the check for us. If I'm ever in the area, I'd certainly return again.

We've ate here a few times. Always good. Our server today was Alaina, she was awesome. Happy, positive, attention to details. Hard worker. A true asset to the Coconut Jack restaurant!

Great place right on the water. Really good food and drinks. Had the mahi tacos and lobster salad. Happy hour on drinks.

Food wasn’t good and it’s overpriced, valet service hit my car and didn’t tell! I notice later when I stop to put gas.

We really enjoyed our visit. Excellent service, great food and drink specials, and dockside visits by schools of catfish and a 6 1/2 ft alligator. We highly recommend this spot for a visit!

Coconut Jack's is a seafood restaurant on the inland waterway near Barefoot beach in Naples FL. We can either be seated in an open air tiki cabana or right on the dock where boats are tied up. The food is good and no overpriced. The service is excellent. Valet parking is a requirement as the space is limited. I recommend it for either lunch or dinner.

Gals loved their margaritas etc. I loved my Tiki Ale (made by Key West Brewery for coconuts). John was a great waiter. On their deck on the water was great.

Great view. Plentiful drink options. Food and the service we're excellent. If you are lucky, you could see an alligator swim by.

Foodies Beware!My family and I went to Coconut Jack’s for the first time for lunch on Monday. I ordered the grouper fish and chips with fries. The meal was extremely underwhelming! Later that evening, I got violently ill and was up most of the night Monday night into Tuesday morning getting sick. Upon further research and review of my specific symptoms, it was determined that I had food poisoning from undercooked or underprepared fish or from unsanitary conditions in the kitchen. My family and I will NEVER come back to this restaurant. Please be careful when choosing to eat at this restaurant. I do not want this to happen to others. This restaurant should be referred to the Florida Department of Health!
